Gerald Genta is certainly one of the most famous watch designers
in the world.
Starting out as a β€œfreelance” designer, he managed to work for
the world's most important brands creating masterpieces.
But it was with his own brand, Gerald Genta, that he was able to
show through his creations his passion for
complications and classical watchmaking. Gerald Genta launched
at the end of the 1970s his first perpetual calendar,
automatic, showing his classic case with special lugs.
Gerald Genta will often take up this perpetual calendar line, embellishing it with high-end
workmanship.
The reference G2225 demonstrates Genta's design in every way: high attention to detail, innovation and eccezionali complications.
A skeletonised automatic perpetual calendar with a moon-phase indicator in lapis lazuli, finely embellished by hand-chiselled winding rotor.
